The charge.
While sitting in a Biblical Foundations & Contemporary Issues in Ministry course at Columbia International University, Pastor Donte’ L. Mackey received a divine charge to establish a church built with the capacity to carry God’s glory.
In the days that followed, the Lord continued to reveal the identity of Encounter, the concept for its logo, ministries to be established, and prophetic declarations concerning its foundation, growth, and enduring impact.
What began as a moment of instruction became a consecrated unfolding—an entrusted vision being formed with divine precision.
Mission
To cultivate a sacred gathering of worship that guides hearts to the feet of Jesus and postures every soul to behold and encounter the fullness of who He is.
Vision
A fellowship of believers leading those of every nation and tongue to the feet of Jesus until He comes again.
